Water and Chliride, Sodium, Potassiun contents of the Human Myometrium in Pregmancy

Abstract
|
|
|
The author make an attempted to observe the quantitative alterations of tissue electrolyte of the human myometrium in pregnancy.
Chemical quantitative analyses for Water, Chlorine, Sodium, Potassium in pregnant myometrial tissue were carried out.
The results obtained are Summarized as follows:
1. The level of water content in myometrium was markedly increased in later half of pregnancy (843.4 ml/kg) and Cl (66.2mEq/kg), Na (63.8mEq/kg) were increased in before half pregnancy and K (56.0 mEq/kg) were increased in later half of pregnancy.
2. Water and Electrolyte Contet in the human myometrium was compared to that in pregnant and non-pregnant condition. water and Cl. Na conetnts was increased than that in non-pregnant condtion, but K content was decreased than that in pregnant condition.
